This is a game developed over 48 hours by a group of 3 students (none of whom are studying game design) for the GMTK 2020 Game Jam. The theme is "Out of Control".

Enter your slightly malfunctioning submarine and journey to the depths of the ocean in search of a mysterious buried treasure. Make sure to carefully monitor your surroundings to not take damage while doing so, although the sub isn't exactly in tip-top shape and the surveying equipment isn't exactly ideal... Switch between seeing your local environment or using your sonar to sense any enemies that may be in the area. Once you've ascertained where you need to go, switch to the sonar and it's full speed ahead! Make sure your don't run into a wall while you aren't watching though...

This theme inspired the lack of information control on the part of the player, who can't inspect their surroundings and sense nearby dangers at the same time, and must always be cautious of nearby underwater creatures that may be lurking while being precise in their movements.

You can also download the game for Windows, Mac, and Linux, just unzip and run the .exe file!

We've included both the updated Director's Cut and the original Game Jam Version, while we recommend the Director's Cut as the definitive version of our original vision of the game, feel free to take a look at the Game Jam Version to see what 48 hours can do to programmers.
